Our Data Practices, Stated Plainly

StakeSchool exists to explain how betting markets settle and which rule decides a payout. That work needs no information about the person reading it. You can open every guide on this site without telling us who you are, where you are, or what you bet on. This page sets out exactly what is and is not collected, so you can judge for yourself before you read further.

What this site does not collect

This site is a set of static pages. Each page is a file served to your browser as it was written; nothing on the page is generated for you personally and nothing is stored about your visit by us.

  • No cookies are set by this site.
  • No analytics scripts run here.
  • No advertising scripts run here.
  • There is no login, no account and no password.
  • There are no comment sections.
  • There are no forms, so there is nowhere for you to submit a name, an email address or a phone number even if you wanted to.
  • No personal data is collected from the reader at all.

Because there is no login and no form, there is also no database of readers on our side. We cannot look up your visit, and we could not hand over a record of it if asked, because no such record is created by this site.

Hosting logs and the limits of our access

The company that hosts these pages may keep ordinary server logs as part of running its service. Those logs are a normal feature of web hosting and typically record things such as the request made, the time it was made and the network address it came from. That logging is done by the hosting provider under its own policy, not by us, and we do not use it to build profiles of readers or to track anyone across sites.

In practical terms, we have no interest in and no use for that material. The editorial work here is about market rules: what a market settles on, what counts as the result, and which clause in a rulebook decides whether a bet pays or is void. That is a question about how bookmakers define outcomes, not about who is reading the explanation.

Following a link to a bookmaker

Our guides review betting markets and payout rules rather than any single operator, but a page may still point you to a bookmaker so you can compare how that company words its own rules. When you follow such a link, you leave this site and arrive on that company's own website.

From that moment, that company's privacy policy and its cookies apply, not ours. It may set its own cookies, run its own analytics, ask you to register and record what you do on its pages. We have no access to anything you do there. We cannot see your account, your deposits, your bets or your balance, and we cannot read or change anything on that company's systems. If you have a question about how a bookmaker handles your details, or about a stake in naira on a market that has settled, that question belongs with the company concerned, under its own terms.

The same applies to any other outside site a page may link to: once you leave these static pages, the rules of the site you land on govern your visit.

Why the site is built this way

Keeping the pages static is an editorial choice as much as a technical one. It means the explanation of a settlement rule is the same for every reader, and it means there is nothing here to sign up for, nothing to switch off and nothing to opt out of. Read the guides, check the rule that decides a payout, and leave when you are done.
